Crochet Heart Scraps Appliques
It’s almost that time of year, Valentines is around the corner and everything is coming up Roses, Berries and Hearts.. I’ve been working on a few different styles of booties but have run out of yarn and it’s been too cold to go out to get more. In the mean time I thought I’d make up some Crochet Heart Scraps Appliques.
These Crochet Heart Scraps Appliques are the same style of hearts that can be found in my Serendipity Hearts Doily or my most recent Love Garden Afghan Block. I thought I could quickly work up the hearts on their own working up 2 different sizes, small and large. Hook one up in 15 mins or less!

Crochet Heart Scraps Appliques Pattern Notes..

Yarn: use up those yarn scraps, any worsted weight yarn like Bernat Satin Yarn or Caron Simply Soft Yarn.
Hook: US G6/4.00mm
Supplies: Yarn needle to sew in ends.
Special Stitches:
- dc-cl (dc cluster): *yo, insert hook in next dc, pull up a loop, yo, draw through 2 loops on hook, rep from * once, yo, draw through last 3 loops on hook.

These hearts look easy to do . Going to make some for my hubby’s granny. Bless her heart , she use to love to crochet and won lots of prizes and contests ,now she can no longer make pretty things .
