Not another bonnet..

June 11, 2012 By: DearestDebi6 Comments

Your favorite brands under one roof: Patons, Bernat, Caron, Lily Sugar‘n Cream, Phentex, and now Red Heart! New and innovative yarn is added all the time.

Not another bonnet..

Not another bonnet!!! I started out with the idea to make a bonnet but just kept going with it, I will turn this into a bonnet one day!!

I found a crochet chart pattern online that was in a different language and decided to give it a go. As you can see my boy in the image below with the hat on, it wasn’t coming out like the one in the picture so I ripped it out. I took what I learned and made a newborn beanie gem!

After making the newborn beanie gem I made the same hat in larger sizing. The Pumpkin Hat & Watermelon Beanie are both toddlers sizing and have been finished off different, the watermelon beanie includes child size.

I was able to successfully turn the beanie into a bonnet and cloak which is now available in Toddler 1-3 years, Child 5-6 years, & Adult. I used the same stitch pattern for my 3 little miss dresses.
