Dragonfly Garden Afghan Block
Dragonfly Garden Afghan Block is my 3rd afghan block. Remember when I made my first block? The Love Garden Afghan, I swore I wouldn’t make any more, at least not any time soon but I just couldn’t help myself. Making afghan blocks has been a fun way to be creative and to find new ways to work stitches. I’ve already got more in the works!!This afghan block is made using Lion Brand’s Vanna’s Choice yarn and I love how it turned out.Colour changed were included for the first block I made with the purple background for the dragonflies but decided to work up a solid white block.
I will be making a video tutorial for this block in the fall once the kids are back in school and the house is quiet and then I will join all my squares together. If you’re looking for a way to join afghan blocks check out these 12 ways to join afghan blocks complied by Moogly.

Dear Debi
I think your patterns are beautiful and I would have loved to crochet them but it seems that no matter how hard I try I am not able to download your patterns at all.

Hi debi! Beautiful pattern! I am working round 7 and i noticed that it only says “work a dc in the ch1 sp from Rnd 5” once. Its not included within the repeat from *. I am repeating it anyway but i thought that someone who isnt great with patterns might get confused. I am loving this square!
DearestDebi says
Thank you, I can take a look once the kids are in school tomorrow and fix it up ^_^
Susan Grider says
I purchased the pattern from ravelry…..and on the 7th round it does not say to do anything but repeat between the *’s twice. It does not say to do a dc in the ch 1 sp from rd 5!!!
DearestDebi says
I fixed it. You should have an update in your Ravelry library
