A pumpkin hat.. It’s almost that time again! Halloween, every little boy and girl needs a pumpkin beanie! The pattern for this hat is also available in newborn, toddler & child sizing.
Use any colour of yarn to make a hat, add a brim or turn it into a cloche. A cute and easy crochet beanie pattern.

- 1-3 years
- Pattern available in newborn size, follow the directions of the Newborn Beanie Gem pattern.
- Pattern available in child size, follow the directions of the Watermelon Beanie pattern.

- FPDC – Front Post Double Crochet, if you need help watch this video –> FPDC
Hooks:
- H8/5.00MM
- J10/6.00MM
- K10.5/6.50MM
Yarn: #4 medium worsted weight. I used Red Heart Comfort. This yarn is kind of scratchy so I recommend using Caron Simply Soft.
Gauge: (Using J10/6.00MM hook) 6 dc and 3 rows = 2″ square
