Mitten/Pants Clip
My youngest has always had a problem with pants staying up. Since she’s been out of diapers before her first birthday she didn’t have the added diaper bulk to add to her waist causing her pants to fall down. I made a mitten clip and use it as a pants clip. You could make 2 of these and use them as mitten clips or you can make one and use it as a pants clip.

Making the “chain” long enough to go around the neck these clips will hold the mittens down the sleeves and not take the chance of the clip coming loose from the sleeve. My children are in their early 50’s and I used this type of idea for them. Don’t know what I used because I did not crochet at the time.
