Hook: US J10/6.00mm
Yarn: #4 medium worsted weight cotton. I buy the big balls of Bernat Handicrafter Cotton Yarn 340g/400g.
My first try I didn’t evenly crochet along the sides, i had a few extra stitches which resulted in what I think looks like a ninja star. I doubt your dishes will care what shape your dishcloths turn out! hehehe

Thank you so much for a quick, simple and easy dishcloth pattern. So many are too fancy, which is fin for gifting. I, however, just want some dishcloths for me!
DearestDebi says
You can never have too many dishcloths 😛

I love this pattern. Actually this is the one that I’ve been using for awhile now. I’ve tried many other dishcloth patterns and didn’t like them -this is by far my favorite. The only thing I do different is use a different crochet hook. I use US8/5.00mm & chain 25 OR USG/4.25mm and chain 35. I did the same thing as your pattern except I didn’t put on a border; however, I’m going to try it like you indicated. This one is super easy… Thank you.

Nice easy pattern, thanks for sharing. Row 2 I think should state sc,dc every other stitch I believe. That’s the way I did it for the one I made & it came out square.
DearestDebi says
Thanks 🙂 I’ll take a look at Row 2.
