Dads Crochet Trapper Hat
I got the idea to make a trapper hat for my kids. Here in Canada we were experiencing -40ºC weather but all my crochet hats just were not warm enough. I wanted to find a way to add a liner to the hat but without having to sew something in.
As I was working on the hat for my youngest my dad called me up and asked me if I would be able to make him a trapper hat. I looked up trapper hats and had a little laugh because I was working on one as we were talking on the phone and I had yarn ordered and on the way to make my son one as well.
There’s some really great fun fur options in my yarn shop. You will want to make sure that you are using a fun fur, not an eyelash yarn as the two will work up completely differently. The fun fur will add warmth, the eyelash yarn will do nothing to help with warmth. Check out my yarn shop for all kinds of great selection!
