Crochet Hooded Cowl with Buttons
Crochet Hooded Cowl is the Cowl version of my Homespun Crochet Hood pattern that I released as the February 2013 as a Mystery Crochet-Along. The infinity scarf version of this hood is now available HERE.

Yarn: 1.25 Balls 6.00 oz./170 g (185 yd/169 m) Lion Brand Homespun Yarn (Colour pictured is Tudor)
Hook: US L/8.00mm
Size:
Teen/Adult
Supplies:
- 3 buttons (Buttons shown are approximately .85″)
Special Stitches:
- Shell Stitch = 3 hdc in same st.
- Spider Stitch (spd st) = sc, ch 1, sc in same st.
- When I worked my spider stitches I worked them in the wrong side loop and front loop of the hdc st, by doing this it will force all the ridges to the inside of the hat. It is not necessary that it be done, it’s more for aesthetics purposes.
Gauge:
4 hdc x 4 rows = 2 inch square
Notes:
For this pattern follow the directions of my Homespun Crochet Hood after you have finished Row 24 then proceed to the directions below..
