Crochet Flower Edging Corners

Crochet Flower Edging Corners

After working up the flower edging I never bothered to add it to my afghan. I was only going to add a row of the flower edging to the top edge of my blanket because to tell you the honest truth, I had no idea how to work the corners. As silly as it is, I never bothered to attempt it and I put my blanket away.

Over the week month, I’ve been looking at my messy desk (hey, no one said creativity wasn’t messy) and all these WIP’s (Work In Progress) I have piled up I decided that it’s time I start finishing some of them. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with having multiple WIP’s, the only time we have a problem is when we don’t finish anything. Or at least that’s what I tell myself.

There is a written, photo and video tutorial for the Crochet Flower Edging. I worked it in rows, I worked it in the round but no corners. I decided to finish my afghan and to add the flower edging to the entire blanket which is currently in the works.

I’ve been asked a few times how to add corners and adding them is really quite simple.

Adding Crochet Flower Edging Corners..

This post is only to show how the corners are worked for the crochet flower edging, if you need help with the edging the written, photo and video tutorial is available HERE.

Work 2 stitches (dc, ch 2, dc, ch 2) in the corner..

(dc, ch2, dc, ch 2) in corner stitch.

and VOILA.. Beautiful Crochet Flower Edging Corners.. It’s like a field of flowers around here.

Is there another format for your downloads, I am not able to view the down loaded files after sharing the design. On your end it says down loading, on my end it says cannot open file. Thank you. I hope I’m an anomaly and it’s only me having this problem.

As long as you can work in multiples of 3 around the edge. Should be no problem as you can skip or add an extra stitch on a flower or two when working the foundation.

If I have a piece I would like to add this edging to I need to add row 6 first to the piece and then row 7, correct?
