Crochet Flower Bud Granny Octagon
Crochet Flower Bud Granny Octagon was originally written by Lisa Vannes-Cockayne. She contacted me with a pattern and has given me permission to share it here on my blog.
The idea of the Crochet Flower Bud Granny Octagon was to be used as a blanket. Lisa has already started piecing together one and is working on the details to share with us. I will add the extra information to this pattern once it’s been completed. For now here’s the Crochet Flower Bud Granny Octagon pattern.

Thanks for this!
I’m currently crocheting my youngest girl the “rows of flowers” afghan, and now I can make a cushion to go with it!
I have to admit, though, I will probably adapt it to be a large hexagon with concentric flower circles.
Thanks I was going to ask the same. Thank you for sharing your great work
Debi – I cannot thank you enough for sharing this pattern! It is sheer genius and after watching your video, I was able to create a beautiful motif in pink roses for my soon to be born great granddaughter. Blessings to you girl!!!!!
I would like to turn this Octagon into a square and would like to know if you know how I could do it. I love the flower pattern.
I have not attempted it as a square. There is the octagon and the Hexagon.. The hex can be found HERE.
Thank you but I am working on a bed spread and it is from squares with flowers in the middle. I love this pattern and hope you do not mind if I try to make into a square. I am sure there are many like me that would love it as it is easy to put together squares. Thank you again.
