Crochet Baby Alive Bonnet Romper Set
Crochet Baby Alive Bonnet Romper is an adorable little doll set made to fit my daughters Baby Alive. I went to my local Walmart to get a new outfit but came home empty handed. The little outfits were $15 and they came with just one outfit. At that price I’d rather just crochet an outfit.
Baby Alive dolls come in 2 sizes. The doll that my daughter has is the larger sized doll. The romper was made to fit the large sized doll and also fit the smaller dolls. My daughters doll has a lot of hair on her head so for the bonnet I made a newborn size. The bonnet will fit the doll or a newborn baby between 0-3 months.
The pattern is very easy, great for beginners as it is worked in half double crochet. When making the bonnet I was going to add ribbon ties until I found some ribbon bows in my drawer. The bows are a much better choice for my daughters doll because she will be able to easily take the bonnet off without me having to help.
I used a needle and thread to sew on the ribbon bows so that they were securely in place.

For the past 2 years I have been searching for crochet patters for baby alive dolls atleast once over month or 2 & this pattern & one other from Crochet Goddess are the ONLY 2 outfit patterns I have been able to ever find.. needless to say I have made MANY different colors of the 2 patterns.. but I am getting bored with the 2 & so is my daughter with the outfit choices. Lol ! I have never really been able to create patterns on my own, but can follow along with one no problem. I know this was done quite a while ago for you (hopefully you see this comment), but I was wondering & fingers crossed hoping if you were going to make any other clothing patterns for baby alive clothes? If so, I am INSANELY interested. haha. hats, shirts, skirts, shorts, pants, etc… ALL OF IT.. Im interested in ! Is there something else I should be searching? like to premie clothes fit if I find patterns for that ? My daughter has 12 baby alive dolls (yikes, I know..) OHH a pajama set would be a cool one ! please please create more ! <3

I have this set. A back pack carrier and some of the bonnets I’ve done fit. They take newborn sized hats but their body’s are small. Could maybe look for American doll outfits.
