Crochet 3D Flower Bonnet Newborn
Crochet 3D Flower Bonnet Newborn size is part of my 3D Collection of beanies and bonnets.
Please don’t let the difficulty rating of this Crochet 3D Flower Bonnet turn you away. I have listed this pattern as an Expert pattern only because in my crochet resources page I have listed picot stitches under the expert section but by no means do you have to be an expert to work up this pattern.

Size: Newborn 0-3 Months
Yarn: #2 Yarn pictured is Ice Yarns – Magic Baby (Magic baby yarn is similar to Bernat Softee Baby Yarn)
Hook:
- US G6/4.25mm
- US G6/4.00mm
Special Stitches:
- v-st – (dc, ch 3, dc) in same space.
- ch up2– Chain Up, when you are at the end of your row, turn work, insert hook into first st, draw up a loop you now have 2 loops on your hook, yarn over, draw up a loop through both loops on hook, insert hook into stitch just made, yarn over and draw up a loop. Adding braided ties..
Cut 24 strips of yarn 20” long for each side. (Total of 48 strips) Braid in ties in the ch3 sps made on row 20. For a tutorial on how to add braids click HERE.
