Autumn Sky Bonnet
I got the idea for this Autumn sky bonnet last Friday night when I started to hook up an Autumn Sky Mystery Cloche. After a bunch of rounds I realized I was using the wrong weight of yarn so I decided to hook up a bonnet instead. This adorable little bonnet will fit an average 3-6 month sized baby.
I used the name Autumn Sky because the yarn I’ve been using for these hats look like an autumn sky, but you can use any colour for your own unique look.
I used Ice Yarns – Magic Baby and weighed my bonnet with no braided ties. It was exactly 25 g so I used approximately 90 m of yarn. 100 m should be enough. My tester used Loops and Threads Snuggly Wuggly Big (available at Michaels) with the same results.
I am hoping to get some time this weekend to play around again. I have another bonnet idea!! Follow me on Facebook or Instagram to see what I’m up to.
Please always supervise babies when wearing bonnets. Ties and ribbons are not recommended for donations to hospitals.
