Aurora Star Cowl
I really like the star stitch, it’s really fun to work up. Almost addicting..
I almost want to keep this piece for myself, but it already has a home!

Gauge:
2 st = 1 star tall
2 rows = 1 star wide2 star tall by 1 star wide = 1″ square
Notes:
When working the star stitch there is on last ch at the end of the first row that a hdc is worked in as the last st of row. I do not include the last ch because I work the last hdc in the same ch as the 6th loop that was drawn up for the last star stitch. This will stop your work from having gaps along the edge line. My counts do NOT include the last ch for the hdc, if this is the way you prefer to do your work then make sure to add a +1 when doing your beginning ch.
When placing buttons you will want to place them starting in the bottom corner and angle them inwards 10°’s as shown below. Attach buttons to work, then to button together in the center of the 5 dc fans.
