Paper Puppets with Yarn Scraps Kids Craft
Paper Puppets with Yarn Scraps Kids Craft was something my kids asked to make tonight. We are always doing some sort of craft and tonight the kids asked me if they could make paper puppets. I got them out all the supplies they needed,.. a paper bag, some white construction paper, markers, glue, a cotton ball, I got the idea to use some yarn scraps for the hair when I was getting the cotton ball. I had just cut a bunch of rainbow coloured ice yarns magic light too short the other day by mistake that it came in handy for their paper puppets.
Using the markers I drew hands and eyes on the white construction paper with dotted lines around them for the kids to cut them out.
I had to help them with the glue and the yarn scraps because it would have been a sticky situation if they were left to their own devices. I glued on some hair, the boy glued on a moustache and I gave my girls paper puppet some lips made out of yarn scraps. Once everything was glued on they got to colour their Paper Puppets.
This is a great inexpensive craft for the kids, most of the stuff you can find around your house and if not you could get the supplies at any dollar store! It’s fun to work up with a result that can last in hours of fun creating their own little paper puppet puppet shows.
As I was sharing my photos on instagram my little ones came to me with a little puppet show they put together on their own. They think it’s pretty cool their video is on the internet! Now that they are busy making puppet shows I can get some work done around here!
