Crochet Sesame Street Yip Yip

April 11, 2013 By: DearestDebi6 Comments

Your favorite brands under one roof: Patons, Bernat, Caron, Lily Sugar‘n Cream, Phentex, and now Red Heart! New and innovative yarn is added all the time.

Crochet Sesame Street Yip Yip

Crochet Sesame street Yip Yips!!! I grew up watching Sesame Street and remember the yip yip’s. Do you remember the yip, yip’s? lol I love these guys..

I used Red Heart Super Saver Yarn or similar for the body, the eyes I used a finer yarn that I had on hand, one of those mystery yarns?.. For the white of the eye ballI used a #2-3? yarn.. I used some black DMC Floss – 310 Black embroidery floss for the pupils. But I forgot something…..

Yip, Yip, Yip!!

Crochet Sesame Street Yip Yip's

Yip, Yip, Yip!!

Meeerrrroooowwww….

 Antenna!!

I forgot their Antenna.

These Crochet Sesame Street Yip Yip’s are pretty fun and quick pattern to work up. I worked up both of these in an afternoon.

The kids love them and love watching videos of them.

The pattern for these awesome Yip Yip’s is HERE.

My most favorite ending of Sesame Street is the one that was filmed in Collingwood Ontario near where I grew up. The Cemente Slide Rides were super fun but they’ve been taken down now and replaced with something new…

Today’s post was brought to you by the letter D and the number 4.
