Reversible means the hat can be turned inside out when it is finished so there are 2 ways to wear it.

Hi Dearest Debi,
I am trying to get the gauge right and I’m running into trouble. I tried a J and an I hook on worsted weight (4) yarn (Vanna’s choice) but I get to 2 inches high when I get to 4 rows with the I hook. I am going to try the gauge now with an H hook to see if I can get it to be 2 inches. Is it okay to go down 2 hook sizes? Sorry I’m a fairly new crocheter (1 year) and I’m finally testing my gauge before I begin projects now. 🙂
DearestDebi says
When you test your gauge you need to work 1 row of dc, then each proceeding row needs to either be fpdc or bpdc. If you work with just dc your gauge will not work.
