Crochet Flower Lattice Collar
I made this crochet flower lattice collar and originally started to add to it in hopes to make a sweater, pullover, shrug of some kind. I wanted the piece to have butterflies so I started working away, tried out 2 different but pretty similar ways of working the piece but I just wasn’t happy with how it was working. You can see HERE the original piece I started and frogged.
After frogging my work I set the collar aside not knowing what to do with it. I had the PERFECT yarn that I wanted to use with the collar but I just didn’t know how to work a piece up with the collar. I finally decided to try making a pullover sweater with the perfect yarn and when I was almost finished I realized that the collar could be added to my pullover sweater.
I’m not really one for sewing, I can, but I don’t like to. I’d rather crochet things together than sew them, but for this piece that just wasn’t going to happen. With some white sewing thread I sewed the collar onto my sweater and voila! I did it!
