I like to make cloths and am always looking for new designs that work up quick and easy. I always use cotton as I find it to be very absorbant, it’s great to wash dishes with and washes up well with a load of towels.

Bernat Handicrafter Cotton
Ch 32, sc in 4th ch from hook, (ch 1, sk 1 ch, sc in next ch) across.
Row 2: ch 3, (hdc in ch1 sp, ch 1) across, finishing with a hdc in last sp, turn work.
Row 3: ch 3, (sc in ch1 sp, ch 1) across, finishing with a sc in last sp, turn work.
Row 4-26: Rep rows 2 & 3 consecutively finishing with a row 2. Work should be square, to check if work is square, fold dishcloth corner to corner and work should be even.
Row 27: ch 1, (sc in ch1 sp, sc in hdc) across, finish off, weave in ends.
