Crochet Flower Lattice Pullover Shrug

When I made the Crochet Flower Lattice Pullover Shrug I wasn’t going to write a pattern but as soon as I posted pictures the requests came in..

Pattern Pattern Pattern - Mine Mine Mine

I wasn’t going to write it out because it’s a doozy of a pattern. Definitely not for beginners and I have such a hard time finding people to test this stitch pattern. I have tried my best to write it out and I have worked through the pattern with one tester Katherine from KatiDCreations. She used some self striping yarns that are available in my Yarn Shop. It’s funny people ask for a pattern but no one wants to test it. I have sat on the pattern for a few months now and no one wants to test the pattern so I might as well post it as is. If you work through this pattern I’d love to see!

I have worked with this flower stitch in the past. There’s a video tutorial on YouTube and you can check out some of my other patterns using this stitch HERE. If you’d like to work with this stitch I’d advise to watch the video, then try it out following along with the video. To understand how I wrote this pattern I would recommend starting with my flower lattice collar. After working through the video and the collar pattern this crochet flower lattice pullover shrug should be easier to follow along. 🙂

Yarn: 3 balls (50g/175m) #2 Ice yarns – Rich Cotton

Hook: US D3/3.25mm

Size: One size L/XL (Ladies size 14/16) measures approx. 38” wide by 12” tall before joining.

Special Stitches:

  • When working with the flower lattice you will NOT be turning your work. One row will be worked from left to right, the next row will be worked right to left without turning. You will be looking at the right side of your work throughout the entire piece.
  • Each flower has 4 petals, to make it easier to reference I’ve numbered them and these numbers will be used within the pattern, the star on the 3rd petal marks the left joining corner.

It sounds like you’re increasing, probably when turning and starting the new rnd and working the wrong row/wrong spot which will increase how many flowers you work.
