Crochet Puff Flower Stitch
This crochet puff flower stitch is based off of this PIN. It is for a beautiful flower stitch that links to a russian pattern. The pattern does not translate into english well, there are pictures and charts which help but without a proper translation this pattern was pretty difficult to figure out. If you were to use google translate it talks about temperature and knitting needles!!
I looked for an english version of this stitch, if someone else has it written up I’d would have loved to learn how to do it so that I could make other things with the stitch but my searches have come up empty handed. I accepted the challenge to try to recreate this beautiful crochet puff flower stitch and to write it out in my own words.
I’m not sure if this is how it was done in the russian tutorial but this is what worked for me.
Above is a picture with 4 rows of flowers, the pattern below is only worked up with one row of flowers to make a headband. I will add a video tutorial for this crochet puff flower stitch as soon as I get a new charger for my camera. I will also add instructions at a later date on how to do more then one row of flowers at a time, but for now, let’s see if I was able to write out one row that is understood.
If you are looking for the scarf pattern of this stitch it can be found HERE.

Wow! It sure is pretty but looks difficult! I bought some new yarn today, I am thinking the lime green would be pretty to try this with.
I think this is very similar. http://www.caron.com/projects/ss/ss_rose_of_sharon_tunic.html
