Girly Afghan CAL Afghan Part 5
Welcome to my Girly Afghan CAL Afghan Part 5!
If you’re new to this crochet along you can check out the main page here –> http://dearestdebi.com/girly-afghan-cal
My daughter insisted this blanket had bows! So I took the flowers from Part 3 of the Mandala and incorporated them with bows.
When working this section you will start working your bows on Round 31. They will look like a mess until they are finished in Round 33.
As you can see pictured below mine puckers and pulls and doesn’t lay entirely flat, I am mentioning this so that people don’t get too worried over it, a little wave it ok! In the end it can be blocked.

I am wondering if your stitch count for Row 33 is off. I have double checked both the written and then video and I come up with 58 sc, 6 hdc, and 4fpsc–this gives me 68 stitches…not the 71+ you have. Am I missing some stitches…..the video agrees with my stitch count.
I will take a look this afternoon to double check.
Sorry for the delay, it’s been a busy summer. It looks like you are correct my counts were off so I’ve updated them.
Super…..I am back also from a mini getaway and ready today to “get busy” Thank you
