Lip Balm Crochet Rose
My 5th cozy, this time a Lip Balm Crochet Rose. I was thinking about working up something for valentines, of course it was a last minute idea and my plans got foiled because my hosting went down over the weekend. I decided to wait to post this pattern, that way I could take a little more time getting together some help and have the pattern tested.
So far I’ve made a Cactus, a Cupcake, an Ewe and a Snowman cozy. All 5 cozies fit an EOS lip balm container. It’s not required to have one, there are alternatives that would fit or maybe you have something you’d like to store in the little space.
To make any of the lip balm cozies, you will need some elastics, about 3/4 of an inch that stretch to about 2 inches. I use 2 elastics for extra durability. For yarn I used red heart shimmer yarn because it’s sparkly, though it doesn’t really sparkle in pictures, it’s really something you need to see in person to see how pretty it really is. What kind of yarn will you use for your very own Lip Balm Crochet Rose? Please make sure to ‘hook up‘ on ravelry, I’d love to see your work.
